Detailed Description
What is Collagen?

Collagen is the most abundant type of protein in mammals. It makes up 25% to 35% of the proteins in our body. As of 2011, 28 different types of collagen have been identified and described. Collagens contribute to the structure of various tissues in the body. The two most common types of collagen are Type 1 and Type 3 collagen.

Nature's Supreme Collagen Peptides, which is presented in powder form, is odorless and flavorless. It does not affect the taste of the food or beverage it is added to. It does not contain any preservatives or additives. This natural protein product of Nature's Supreme is a patented raw material called "Solugel" belonging to PB Gelatins, one of the oldest and most well-known gelatin producers in Argentina. It is Halal, HACCP, ISO, and Kosher certified.

In Which Tissues are Type 1 and Type 3 Collagen Found?
Type 1 collagen is found in the skin, tendons, vascular system, organs, and bones; Type 3 collagen is found predominantly in connective tissues. Additionally, Type 3 collagen has been observed to coexist with Type 1 collagen.
